Our Georgetown Earl Grey is an unusual blend of Darjeeling black tea, bergamot and a light touch of organic rose petals.
If you’ve ever walked through this iconic neighborhood in Washington DC in Spring and Summer then probably felt like it was a stroll in a quaint European village with heaping rose gardens. We felt an Earl Grey perfectly captures the essence of this NW neighborhood on the Potomac River with its abundance of flowers, wonderful architecture and left over cobblestone streets.
The light rose enhances the muscatel notes of this 2nd flush Darjeeling and the citrus bergamot is perfectly balanced with lovely flavor. An elegant Earl Grey indeed.

Roughly 40 cups of tea
Ingredients: Darjeeling black tea, oil of bergamot and organic rose petals
Directions: Heat 6 -8 oz. fresh water (212ºF preferred) over 1/2 -1 teaspoon of tea. Steep 2-5 minutes, strain and serve immediately.
Caffeine: Yes. If you are sensitive or have an allergy to caffeine, our suggestion is to skip tea and drink herbal infusions or rooibos.
