We’re grateful for the GenerosiTEA of customers, colleagues, friends and family that have helped support Pearl Fine Teas along the way over the last 17 years. We believe in paying it forward, so each year we choose a few organizations to support.
2024 DONATIONS:
We will continue to donate proceeds from our Earl Grey Creme to the Vietnam Veterans of America along with proceeds from our Slava Ukraini blend rescue groups in Ukraine. We will also now be donating 50% of proceeds from our Blueberry Rooibos blend to an animal rescue group in Asheville, NC due to the destruction of Hurricane Helene. Watch this space and our social media for which group we choose. We’re still researching rescues.

Blueberries for Ashville
Typically we take our much loved Blueberry Rooibos Summer tea off the menu to make room for fall and holiday teas. But I’m going to keep it live from now until Dec 31st. From today until then, we’ll donate a 50% of proceeds to help animals affected by Hurricane Helene. I’ll announce which rescue and post it in our stories. Everything we donate is 100% traceable.

The Vietnam Veterans of American with
Earl Grey Creme
This blend was recently reformatted and renamed. It’s was the favorite of our owner’s late father, Joe, a Vietnam Veteran. He was an avid coffee drinker – except for our Earl Grey Creme. He and Lauren (his granddaughter and the Chief Leafs niece) often sat talking and drinking this exact blend. As it turns out, it’s now Lauren’s favorite Earl Grey too. The legacy continues. 20% of Proceeds will be donated to VVA.

Supporting animals
affected by the Ukraine War with our
Slava Ukraini!
There is just no way to sit by, sipping tea in peace while animals (and people) are being hurt. So, two days after the invasion, we changed the name from Russian Caravan to Slava Ukraini! and reformulated it slightly. We continue to donate 20% of proceeds from the sale of this tea blend and now choose one per year to donate to.

Maui Humane Society Animal Victims of the Maui fires
We have a deep, loving connection to Hawaii. Our Chief Leaf lived there for 5 glorious years before moving to Washington DC. The wildfires and destruction of Lahaina, Maui is heartbreaking - and that’s an understatement. Both our blends Makiki and Hawaiian Zen were created to honor the time spent in the Islands — a place that is like a second home. For the remainder of 2023 we will be donating 50% of proceeds from both to the Maui Humane Society so that those beloved creatures can also receive some aid. Thank you for purchasing both blends from Aug 9 - Dec 31, 2023. All donations are traceable!

Donation for Ukraine
We continued to donate to animals in need during the war in Ukraine. We donated to IFAW specifically to help Yuna a Lion affected by the shelling. We will continue to donate in 2004. Thank you for your purchase of our Slava Ukraini Blend so we may help others
2022 DONATIONS FOR UKRAINE
We gave away a lot of money every month through December 2022 with our commitment to help those in need in Ukraine. 50% of sales for our Slava Ukraini! Blend (Formerly Russian Caravan) – the majority of it went to animals. The list of every organization that we sent money to is listed below, is traceable and transparent. We thank you so much for purchasing this blend (and all our teas) so that we can continue to give. For now, Slava Ukraini! Blend will be on our tea menu and we will still give 50% of sales away to help animals affected by war. We’re researching which group might benefit most and will post that when we decide!
