A full-bodied white tea made from the top two baby leaves and a bud. A rustic looking leaf that is both savory and sweet and produces a clear liquor in the cup. Classic.
Ingredients: White tea
Directions: Pour 6-8 oz of fresh water (180-190ºF preferred) over 1/2 -1 teaspoon of tea. Steep 2-3 minutes, strain and serve immediately.
Caffeine: Some report that white teas are low in caffeine, however, the research we have read suggests its actually quite high. If you are sensitive or have an allergy to caffeine, our suggestion is to skip tea and drink herbal infusions or rooibos.
